| Duties: | Serve as the policy body for the operation of the Tennessee Commission on Children and Youth in the implementation of its statutory powers and duties. Serve as the State Advisory Group for administration of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act funds in Tennessee and state Court Appointed Special Advocate funds; engages in advocacy at the federal level on these issues; and has an ombudsman program for children involved with the child welfare and juvenile justice systems. |
